A single-handed cruciform sword with a relatively broad and double-edged blade. Save for the greatsword, the broadsword is the most damaging of the sword varieties available for sale through the blacksmith Wiktus. It is well-suited to both cutting and thrusting.

 

As a more expensive weapon, the broadsword is considered the blade of a more experienced fighter.
