Ma Tota is a Thoom, is female, and can be seen wandering all over Puddleby Island. She leads a solitary life in the wilds, disinterested in the company of exiles. Her forgetfulness is legendary, and she treats with indifference even those she deigns to speak with. Her inability to remember anyone's name or keep an appointment make her a most reviled Thoom.
