This spiky seedpod is acquired by shaking down the remains of a freshly-killed Starflower? plant. Native to Sarra, these pods are extremely durable and can remain fertile for many years.

 

Despite preferring warm, damp, marshy ground, Starflowers will grow anywhere that kudzu can be planted.
