GrizzlyBear

Along with the Brown Bear, the Grizzly is one of the most common bear species. Typically, Grizzlies have a darker, red-brown fur of higher value than that born by their weaker cousins. They are heavier, too, and their claws leave deep wounds where they travel. Grizzly Bears are extremely territorial, but do not have as excellent a sense of smell as the Brown Bear. Because of this, it is sometimes possible to slip past a foraging Grizzly without provoking an attack.

Because of and perhaps enabling their significant bulk, Grizzlies are able to prey on large Mammals as well as eating roots, tubers, and other plant growth. As well as being found in all known bear caverns, they are sometimes spotted gathering food in the forests of Puddleby and Devil's Island.
