IcetonA small island, somewhere between Peaceton and Puddleby Island. It is not known whether Iceton exists, or whether it is an invention of Hoggle's imagination. Iceton was described by Hoggle as a small, green island, against which the Peaceton ferry crashed during one voyage. It apparently had a river, across which a path opened when an old boot was cast into its current. The path led to a copse containing Giant Snail mounts for sale, from 25,000 coins to an exorbitant 50,000. Iceton also apparently had abundant lumber, as logs were collected for repairs to the ship before the ferry was able to cast off again. Because of the widespread doubt about Iceton's existence, it was a surprise to most exiles when Skipper's Snail Racing outfit was discovered. |
