Hellebore Omnivorous plants native to the rainforests of Metzetli Island, Hellebore are a ferocious and unusual specimen of flora. Though they are stationary, Hellebore are able to send long-reaching thorny roots to kill and capture visitors who venture too deep on the rainforest floor. When attacking or grabbing, their roots extend directly up from the ground to gouge or ensnare. During a capture, the victim is pulled underground before being brought back above at lightning speed to rest near the mother plant. Hellebore are hardy plants with large pink blooms. |
