InfantMeshra Of all the Meshra, infants are the only that are truly helpless. Infant (also referred to as baby) meshra are the recently hatched young of any of a number of kinds of adult meshra. They can normally only be found deep in meshra pools and lairs, where they can be kept reasonably safe. Despite large blue lamp-like eyes, infant meshra are blind to the world around them, and are only able to retreat from danger by sensing the reverberations caused by those who would harm them sloshing through the water nearby. They are protected by the Elder Guardians that are almost always tending to them. According to the Marsh Hermit and a number of other sources, they taste suspiciously like chicken. |
