The so-called luck bone is actually the wishbone of a large flying creature, presumably a drake. It is called a luck bone because of the resemblance to the wishbone broken during a feast involving a large bird dinner.

 

Few luck bones are found, as it is a fragile bone, and most are destroyed during territorial disputes between drakes. Those bones that survive are highly prized by bards, who can have them made by Hendrux into lucky lyras.
