Rockodile Leather

The greater Puddlebean rockodile is a slow-moving creature that nonetheless presents a formidable challenge, in large part due to its thick, rock-like skin. Rockodile skin thickens and toughens as the lizard grows, and by late adulthood it is nearly impossible to cut; most great rockodiles are actually killed not by successful cuts but by internal damage resulting from repeated blows to their near-impenetrable skin.

On occasion, the skin of the great rockodile may be so robust that it maintains integrity even after death. In such cases it is a trivial matter to remove the skeletal structure and internal organs, leaving behind a very sturdy rockodile skin leather suitable for use in the construction of rockodile breastplate armor.
