The xylo is a bard instrument constructed by Hendrux from a piece of fine wood.

 

The xylo is often compared to the vibra, but the xylo has a sharper, woodier tone. Using mallets on the wooden bars, a bard can create music with chords of up to six tones at once (an amazing three mallets per hand!).
