FlailThis rather intimidating weapon can be bought from a seller along the western beaches of Puddleby. Also called a "crawler cracker", the flail consists of a spiked metal head attached by chain to a sturdy wooden handle. Exiles without the proper training can find themselves thrown off balance by the sheer momentum of the heavy metal head; when this weapon has picked up enough speed and force, the resulting blow can be devastating to its target. Unfortunately, the unwieldiness of this weapon makes it an unpopular choice for most exiles. Those who are interested in heavy, powerful weapons are more likely to turn to the axe for their fighting needs. |
