Hulapop was a famed Thoom naturalist, and one of the first people to be exiled to Lok'groton. Hulapop is well known for his journal, which contained the first bestiary of the islands' monsters, as well as a detailed account of the Darshak Theocracy.

Hulapop disapeared while investigating the Darshak on Ash Island, and hasn't been seen since.
