Bitter berries are extremely unripe berries that are harmful to consume -- any exile who eats them will immediately fall ill. Though not fun to eat, bitter berries can come in handy when one needs to fall in a hurry. Bitter berries can be purchased from Mort in the Grange, or found in the Flower Tower on Devil's Island.

 

They bear some resemblance to Brambleberries.
