The silvery shell is the once-home of a mollusk that lives under the waters surrounding Puddleby Island. While most such shells are cracked and broken once their inhabitant dies, a few shells survive unbroken on their journey to the shore.

 

These shells are highly prized by Bards, as Hendrux is able to craft them into the conch musical instrument.
