The mirror in South Forest is now linked to the Flying Island. Legend has it that the mirror used to lead to a room full of other mirrors that linked to many locations in the lands.

 

Just to the southwest of the Mirror is the entrance to the South Forest Hospital. In the same area as the Hospital you can head north to find The Outpost.
