Foxweir Though foxweirs are not physically very strong (in fact, they might be compared to a large vermine, they attack and run extremely quickly. Their fine red fur can fetch as many as ten coins when cleaned up properly. They are common in the Tree Giant Breeding Grounds? and can also be found occasionally in the northern forests of Puddleby. Some people say that the foxweir is not really a canine at all. They say that in the dark of night a spriggain will steal a child from it's crib and secret it away. Praying to the Moon and her children through fey blood rituals, they transform the baby, twisting it's body into a red thing with fur and teeth. The new foxweir is born to serve the cackling overlords till the end of it's life. |
