BrownBearOne of the most common varieties of bear, the brown bear is found in the outer, less populated bear caverns as well as those deeper dens home to more colourful varieties. Though omnivorous, a brown bear's diet consists mainly of meat, taken from cavern visitors or the smaller creatures that frequent their caves. On occasion, brown bears are found foraging in the forests near Puddleby. Because the outer chambers of the bear caverns border on the river tunnel, fish are also a food source for Brown Bears. They are the weakest of the bear family, but have perhaps the best sense of smell, able to react to the presence of intruders well before other bears would have. Like all bears, brown bears stand on their hind limbs to attack. |
