BurningReedAmedon Somewhat weaker than its close relative, the Burning Reed Amedon is a frog-like creature native to Metzetli Island. Its powers of self defense come not in the form of brute strength, but through the ability to breathe flames much like a Drake does. The unique glands that allow the Burning Reed Amedon this ability sometimes explode in an intense ball of fire when the beast is slain, injuring all nearby parties. Their blood can be drained and sold for a surprisingly high value, leading to speculation that it holds magical properties. |
