Gossamer The gossamer is a light weapon, popular for landing lighter, well-controlled blows. The gossamer allows the wielder, with training, to conserve their balance use when finishing off a creature. With enough training, a gossamer user can learn to swing at a more rapid rate. A skilled user of this weapon can sometimes execute a "Touch of Death" swing. The "Touch of Death" will kill a creature, take no balance and not pause the movement of the wielder, basically allowing the wielder to kill the creature and pass through without stopping. One must qualify by fighting in the style of the blade, killing creatures in one blow. Rangers specialize in the use and utilization of the gossamer. |
