(1) -- Don't quite have the training (2) -- Little more serious (3) -- Significantly more serious (4) -- Much more severe (5) -- Maimed (6) -- Mangled (7) -- Far too mangled (8) -- Mutilated (9) -- Nearly unrecognizable (10) -- Nearing death (11) -- Perilously near to death
