Hetaler Hetaler grow to arm-length, and are coloured metallic grey with speckling fading to a bright blue on the belly. Most varieties are salt water, though some live in fresh. Hetaler are fished primarily for their flavour, which is sometimes used as a substitute for crawler flesh. The taste of the fish rapidly becomes poorer after the catch, and it does not store well. |
