MaceThe mace is the mean older cousin of the studded club. Instead of reasonably lightweight wood, the entire weapon is extreme: its strong wooden handle is reinforced with metal and topped by an immensely heavy iron head. Taking a swing with it is a commitment: the best you can do is hold on and hope for the best. It is not as slow to swing as one might expect. I suppose that it is harder to stop swinging that much momentum than it is to keep going. While it is not accurate whatsoever, when the mace finally connects with its target, the result can be spectacular. Orga beware! |
