MetalBracers Requiring the user to have completed Bracis' training, metal bracers are the most difficult to use and most expensive of the bracers sold by Hanmai. Formerly crafted out of carefully fashioned iron, the Monastery was forced to change the composition of the bracers it sells to a cheaper alloy, due to limited availability and excessively high market prices of iron. It is unknown whether this newer alloy is completely safe, and so it is recommended that the user wash their hands and wrists well after using, and to avoid extended use where possible. Metal bracers provide the greatest amount of support to the wrists in unarmed combat, however, this comes at the cost of flexibility and balance. |
