RhysRhys is a sylvan fighter and ranger who was exiled from the mainland after the destruction of House Carroch, by agents of the Emperor, some years after the Ripture War. His family was held by the Emperor, who employed captive Darshak priests to experiment on them, eventually turning them into shambling beings divorced of spirit. Rhys claims that he was allowed to escape and be exiled, only to see his loved ones thus enslaved, as punishment for opposing Imperial policy. Rather than see them in such a state, he killed them outright, and vowed eternal vengence on the Emperor and Darshak both. Rhys is skilled in pathfinding and chaining, and will frequently be found rescuing exiles in out of the way areas around Puddledom. |
