SandWurm

Of the same family as Lesser and Large Sand Wurms, these smaller Wurms have the same sandy segmented armour. They are considerably less bulky, and travel over the surface of the sand rather than burrowing beneath. Also like their relatives, they are found only in warm regions of desert and beach.

Sand Wurms are quick attackers; they rapidly squirm along the sand, and rather than taking the circle-between-attacks approach of the Large or Lesser Sand Wurm, they aim straight for their target. They are often found in large numbers, and have been known to cut off and surround those who they hunt. Their accuracy and defensive capability is poor, and all but the most newly exiled can hit them.
