SilverbackWendecka Adult male Wendecka, Silverbacks are an extremely rare sight near the watering holes of the mountain passes. They are similarly sized to a Young Sasquatch but are considerably weaker and can be distinguished by the patches of silver hair on their back. Part of the reason they are such an uncommon sight is that most Wendecka are killed — either by other Wendecka, marauding exiles, or dementia — before they reach this age and size. Their pelts are valuable, but when encountered they are often stuffed and used as a trophy. Years have often passed between sightings; Silverbacks are thought to lead troops of Wendecka through the less hospitable regions of the mountains, where they are unlikely to be attacked by exiles or encounter a competing family. |
