BilgeRat A species of cavern rat adapted to ship life, bilge rats are able swimmers. Most if not all Darshak ships are infested with them, to the point that one cannot cross the deck without seeing numerous tails retreating to the deeper nooks and shadows of the ship. Feasting on the slop and waste that is everpresent on any such vessel, they grow to enormous proportions and are quite a bit fiercer than their land-going kin. Bilge rats are rabidly omnivorous, readily eating carrion as well as anything else they can sink their teeth into. They only found their way into Puddleby once, during Kiril Drakesblood's occupation. |
