BrambleberryCluster Brambleberries are a common berry found in the wilds of Puddleby Island. They mostly grow in forests, but are occasionally found in lowlands as well. Brambleberry plants are squat with many smallish green leaves. The roots and leaves are popular with foraging animals, but the berries are inedible. The bright green berries produce a strong yellow dye, and can be mixed to make a yellow bleach as well. Because of the small, hard nature of the berries, producing dye from their juice is a difficult task for which 500 coins is charged. As less juice is needed for the bleach, a meagre 50 coins is charged. Brambleberries are the main ingredient in Brambleberry Beer, an invention of Patti Sprin. The beer wears the same green color as the berries from which it is made. |
