Jellyfish The most common type of jellyfish in the Lok'Groton is the translucent blue stinging variety. Though these jellyfish are not friendly, their sting is mild and they do not strike unless they are approached closely. Though not unusually hostile, jellyfish are omnivorous and will attempt to devour anything caught in their tentacles. Jellyfish consist of a dome-shaped upper segment and an array of food-catching tentacles hanging down. They control their movements through use of the water pouch in their upper body. Their stings are easily treated. |
