PolarBear Strongest and most magnificent of the bears, Polar Bears are found in the glacial and wintry regions of the Lok'Groton. Once spotted, they are easy to identify by the fur's lustre — similar to that of new fallen snow. These thick, shining pelts keep them toasty in the perpetual chill of their climate, and also serve as camouflage from predators and prey. Polar Bears are excellent hunters, and have a better-developed sense of smell than almost all other varieties of bears. They are mainly carnivorous, but will also eat some shoots and berries. Polar Bears are usually found in family units; though they occasionally hunt alone, they are protective of their family and do not often stray far. |
