The PPD is Puddleby's first line of defense against marauders and criminals. Often employed in the use of rescues. The founder of the PPD is the lawfully elected Sheriff Noivad, and he appointed a number of deputies, including Astor, Lunaria, Punisher and Skirwan. The PPD has a section on the Sentinel message board, including Citizen's watch which keeps track of criminal activity in Puddleby.
