RatsVermineRats and VermineRatsRats are the ubiquitous scavengers of Lok'groton, found nearly everwhere in the lands. Though rats have sharp teeth and claws, they usually pose little threat to healthy exiles, and new exiles often hunt them to get their first combat experience. Rats do pose a more serious threat to fallen exiles, however. Like Scavenger Birds and Co'acha, rats are nasty scavengers, and they chew on the body of fallen exiles, worsening their condition. Many a hunt has been ended by a pack of rats who have chewed a party beyond healing. VermineVermine are the nastier cousins of the rat. They come in various sizes and types, all of them dangerous in their own way. The lesser vermine are often an exile's first source of pelts as even the smallest can provide valuable fur. |
