ColdAndSnowyBefore the Ripture War, the South Forest Mirror used to lead to a castle containing magical mirrors; one of which led to an area known as Cold and Snowy. This was a small, frigid land of perpetual snow, inhabitted by such creatures as Snow Vermine and Snow Cougars. For a time, Cold and Snowy also led to a larger area known as the Glacier, containing a small town. More recently, the term has been used to refer to the snow capped mountains of the Dark Cloud. This region of the Cloud is particularly dangerous, with wandering Frost Giants and Polar Bears. The snowmelt from the area flows down to form the rivers of the Flying Island. Cold and Snowy is also sometimes used to refer to the Snowy Grove that appears in North Field every four years, around Bawkmas time. Related Links: |
