CatapultA rolling wooden device used to throw various missiles (includings logs of wood, stone, ore, and metal) at invaders from its tower in East Puddleby. The tower still remains near the Eastern Gate, though the catapult was stolen by the Orga during an invasion. Later, when the Foothills were first discovered, catapult plans were found in a cave at the mouth of the passes. According to the Orga chief Bartok, the catapult has been destroyed, because they could find no use for it. When exiles discovered entrances to the Orga Stronghold, the presence of many Orga Catapults revealed this to be a bold lie. |
