JuxtaposedAccording to some versions of the Creation Myth, the Juxtaposed were created along with the other Third Children (which includes humans, thoom, and the People). However, unlike the other races, the Juxtaposed were created using only parts of the Sun and Moon, with no Earth. Few descriptions of the Juxtaposed exist, but the scant relics that mention them usually describe them as graceful, roughly humanoid creatures with an ethereal quality to them. Some scholars question whether the Juxtaposed ever existed at all, as there are few reliable accounts of them in recent times, and they do not appear at all in some versions of the Creation Myth. The mystic Aki claims to be one of the Juxtaposed, though this has never been verified. |
