Beyond the gates of Puddleby, logs of wood are found fallen and cut all through the fields and forests of the Lok'Groton. Some islands, such as Kizmia's Isle, have a much more plentiful supply than others. On Ash Island, for instance, very little wood, if any, is ever found. Wood is valuable in a number of endeavours.

• Logs of wood can be given to builders to help in their respective construction projects.
• Using a tinderbox, a log of wood can be set aflame to create a nice bonfire.
• A woodworking exile can use wood to create a variety of items. Currently, woodcrafted items are limited to barrels, brooms, studded clubs, wooden shields, and shovels.
