CacaoPod The fruit of the cacao tree, cacao pods ripen to a rich brown colour and can easily be shaken from their place among the leaves. Cacao trees are slender, and generally require a humid climate with regular rainfall and good soil. Despite this, one cacao tree is found on the Savannah. In the Lok'Groton, most are found in the southwest regions of Gungla Island. Cacao beans are valued for the rich chocolate flavour they produce and are an important Baking ingredient for many desserts. |
