AncientLanguage

The written form of the Ancients' language is composed of triangular characters. The spoken form is not currently well-understood.

Several groups have made efforts at deciphering the 'triangle language' with varying degrees of success.

The representation of numbers in the ancient language is relatively well-understood and can be used to determine the location of the Flying Island in the Control Room.

At various locations in the Eastern Mountains exiles have discovered Triangle Plinths contains messages written in the Ancient language. Some who have studied these messages claim they contain information about the history of the Ancient civilization, including their experiments with the Org and Orga, the story of Mataline? and her visit to the Land Of Shadow, the purpose of the Greymyr, and of the war between the Ancients and the Shadows and the resulting Cataclysm?.
